RTO (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer)

Description

The regenerative thermal oxidizer(RTO) uses the heat generated when the gas containing the VOCs material is burned at around 830℃ for direct heat exchange and accumulates the heat generated by the heat accumulator. At this time, the RTO is heated by the accumulated heat and burns and disposes VOCs appropriately.
This technology eliminates organic solvents and odors and prevents the air from being polluted by collecting and supplying heat by using the heat exchanger for heat exchange without discharging a considerable amount of combustion heat generated to outside atmosphere. In addition, it can efficiently utilize the waste heat emitted to the outside as a heat source for the production process.

Features

  • It uses Teflon and Viton ring to solve the rotary entangling problem due to thermal deformation and can achieve 99~100% treatment efficiency.
  • By constructing a metal type partition plate in the heat storage layer, the problem of gas leakage caused by the aging of the RTO system is solved and the hunting problem of THC and CO of the process gas is, also, solved.
  • By constructing an Air-Jacket type at a hot bypass damper, it is possible to reliably emit hot gas in emergency situation by preventing thermal deformation of the RTO system.
  • By installing a separate partition plate in the combustion chamber, it is designed to allow complete combustion of process gas by providing sufficient residence time of process gas.
